Meet Coach Boris

Q: What inspired you to become a soccer coach?
A: My path to becoming a strength and conditioning coach began with my experience as an athlete. Growing up immersed in sport gave me a firsthand appreciation for the physical, mental, and emotional demands of high performance. Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate to work with coaches who not only shaped me on the field but also guided my growth off of it—instilling values I now aim to refine and pass on.
Q: Why are sports, coaching, and education important to you?
A: Coaching, sport, and education have always held deep meaning for me because of their transformative power. They go beyond skill development—they build identity, character, and community.
Q: What are some of the most important things you want your athletes to know about you and your approach to fitness & performance?
A: At PlusTwo Football, I bring a personalized and athlete-centered approach to every individual I work with. Whether you’re in youth athletics, playing at the amateur level, or competing professionally, my goal is to support your growth through a tailored combination of soccer coaching, strength and conditioning, and speed, agility, and quickness training.
Q: How do you approach training and coaching in a way that may be different to other performance institutions out there?
A: No two athletes are the same, which is why I take the time to understand your goals, history, and lifestyle to craft a plan that motivates, challenges, and elevates. I coach with intention, grounded in dedication, perseverance, and hard work—because I believe that with the right support, every player can unlock their full potential.
Meet Coach Nima

Q: What inspired you to become a soccer coach?
A: My journey as a professional soccer player gave me the foundation, but what truly inspired me to coach was the desire to pass on what I learned to help younger to build better habits earlier. I’ve played in different countries, systems, and cultures, and I realized that the right guidance at the right time can completely change a player’s trajectory. Coaching gives me the opportunity to be that guide.
Q: Why are sports, coaching, and education important to you?
A: Sports taught me discipline, resilience, and how to work within a team. Coaching allows me to share those values with the next generation. And education, whether in the classroom or on the field, is how we grow. I believe athletic development and personal growth go hand in hand. My goal is to help athletes become not just faster or stronger, but smarter, more aware, and more confident in everything they do.
Q: What are some of the most important things you want your athletes to know about you and your approach to fitness & performance?
A: I’m here to help you move better, not just train harder. Every drill, every cue, and every session is intentional. I care about the details, how you run, how you recover, how you carry yourself. I want athletes to know that improvement isn’t about grinding non-stop; it’s about understanding the body, respecting the process, and doing the small things with consistency. My coaching is built around functionality, form, and real-world performance, not just speed for the stopwatch.
Q: How do you approach training and coaching in a way that may be different from other performance institutions out there?
A: A lot of programs focus on pushing athletes to their limits. I focus on building a foundation that lasts. My training starts with mechanics, movement efficiency, and brain-body connection. I take a long-term approach, helping athletes train smarter, stay injury-free, and develop skills they can take into any competitive environment. What sets our program apart is the blend of professional-level insight with individualized, athlete-first coaching. It’s not just about results—it’s about developing the tools that create results sustainably.
